Choice Builders was founded in 2014 with the goal to be a top choice for civil construction projects. Our team members have served as a prime contractor, as a subcontractor to general construction firms and as a completion contractor for surety companies. Therefore, we understand the critical path elements of a construction schedule, operational efficiencies, and the importance of providing high-quality, reliable service. We will utilize our industry knowledge and existing relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure our team receives the most competitive pricing, best quality of materials, and dependable and quality-oriented subcontractors to ensure that we are a steadfast partner in your team.
MANAGEMENT
Charles “Charlie” O’Daniel currently serves as Owner. He brings 18 years of general contracting experience, including 11 years of experience with a mid-size Central Texas construction firm where he served as a Director, and another 2 years serving as Operations Manager for a civil contractor. Serving in management roles at both firms, Charlie brings a thorough understanding of the construction industry, business strategies, and operation requirements necessary for successful client relations and project management. He is a licensed irrigator, provides the surveying needs of the company, and spends the majority of his days at the jobsite – where he is most content. Charlie began in the field as a surveyor on large, government civil construction projects and it is this exposure to the earthwork and concrete trades that created the path that he has taken with Choice Builders and the passion that he has for civil construction. He spent a number of years in an office environment serving as an Estimator, Project Manager, and Director in private retail and government projects, and has built a vast network of clients, engineering firms, subcontractors, and suppliers with whom he can tap as additional resources as project needs warrant.
